- When the contest ends you will be told how to
submit your game.
- The entries will be judged collectively by the
participants. More details will be posted on this
sooner to the contest.
- The Rules
- Your team cannot do any work on your game until
the contest begins.
- You must follow the topic given.
- Any game-creation engine or language may be used.

able to supply them.
- All game-specific code must be original and made during
the period of the contest by the team members.
- All art must be original and made during the period
of the contest except for fonts. You can use a premade
sprite template to base your sprites off of. This does
not mean just palette swapping ripped sprites.

Make sure you have the original author's permission
to use a song if it's not yours.
- Teams can have at maximum five members.
- A person cannot be on more than one team.
- There is no entry size limit within reason.
- Violations could result in disqualification.
- How to Sign Up
- Registration is not required but is recommended
as to give us an idea of how many people will
participate.
- To sign up
email
me with your team name, members, and what engine/language
you will be using. You'll be added to the list shortly.
- If you have any adjustments to make concerning your
team information let me know and I'll change it.
- The official IRC channel for the compo is #xmas on espernet.
- If you aren't sure whether your engine will be allowed or you
