The little left arrow and right arrow buttons above the menu let you page the base menu left and right (if you've created multiple base menus)
Typically these alternate pages hold things like 'run', 'defend', 'limit break' and whatnot, but who am I to tell you what you can and cannot do in your game?
If you are in keyboard/controller mode, they are controlled by the Left Shoulder and Right Shoulder virtual buttons.
