Technically, one supposes that there's a poor-man's copyright on VERGE that extends to "Vecna's Extraordinary Roleplaying Game Engine" and VERGE in the context of a Game Creation Engine. vecna's been using the name long enough to be able to file for a trademark and all that jazz. The word from vec however:
