The lack of sweet iced tea nearly drove me insane! The exponentially stronger unsweetened tea almost make me sink! The international visitors and accents made me think I was in a Bond movie! I watched an episode of Batman del Futuro! I visited Cozumel (personal memo: never again)!

Royal Caribbean travel. Recommended for the ship and the cruise. I personally didn't enjoy the onland skirmishes, however.

Gayo's recipe for sweet tea:

  • Take unsweetened tea.
  • Add sugar.

How do you make your sweet iced tea!? My attempts all turn out like crap! T_T I must know your secret!

Stir in the sugar while the tea is still hot. I prefer 2-4 teaspoons for a single cup, and maybe 2 cups for a pitcher of tea (however much a pitcher holds).

I think. It's almost too simple.

You can't do that when the iced tea is cold :(

You need to measure everything out for me. *nods* That way I can make "Omni's sweet iced tea", instead of "tulo's weak tasting caffienated drink with sugar." XD

Gayo

Well, you can, but it doesn't work as well and has to be stirred very thorouhgly.

Dissolve the sugar first in a small amount of hot water.

But I don't know what you people see in iced tea. Tea is meant to be hot. The only time you're meant to drink cold tea is when you wake up in the morning and find some left over from the previous day. Mmm!

They mentioned Darjeeling in a Dr Who book, so I tried some and now it's my tea of choice.

Incidentally, my mother makes nothing but tea, non-stop. I get it when I wake up. I get it when I'm working on my HOV. I've had it in the bath. I've even had it on the roof of our house. The woman is tea MAD. Typhoo, incidentally. My second favourite.

Iced tea isn't tea! It's either from-mix akin to presweetened koolaid, or it's chock full of 5 nutritious liquors!

Chai tea is still the best in my book. Although I'm a freak and drink it sans sugar and milk when I make it at home.

Ugh, Chai is despicable without sugar and milk. It is incredibly, incredibly good though, just difficult to make at home. STARBUX 4 LYF.

I absolutely adore iced tea, myself. I drink more cold than I drink hot. The commercial stuff is absolute shit, though -- it's only good when it's real, ordinary tea that's been chilled.

Incidentally, there's this liquid sugar stuff you can buy to overcome the dissolving problem, but it doesn't taste quite the same.

I never liked ice tea. I just feel like if I'm gonna drink something this plain and simple, I might as well drink water.

Water lacks the simple flavorific brilliance of sweet iced tea.

I believe you, but I just don't find it appealing to my taste buds. I've never tried sweetened ice tea, so maybe that's my problem.
