I'd just like to say that for all the joy I take out of coding things like Battle Systems, and Menu Systems, I have complete loathing for map making.

Mabey it has something to do with the fact that I couldn't draw a tile to save my life, let alone a chr, ........ or a spell effect for that matter.

I'm with you Ness.
I especially hate it to make some maps for resolutions above 320x240. Like, when you need to place 20 tiles for a simple tree.

Can we have custom tile groups in the maped3?
Pleeeeeeeease?

For some reason I decided to do my battle system in 800x600, so now I have to do the whole game in that res. V3 tiles are 16x16, so even if I want to use the tilesets that grue released (which I still plan to do) I have to extract them, double the size, and then reimport them.

Either that or make the story line something like "Were stuck in mini world! Please save us!"

well, you could always switch the res a lot... which would be uncomfortable... but... er...

Anyways, yeah, there needs to be custom tile groupings and faux tilesize increasing in maped. I doubt tatsumi will be returning anytime soon. Our only hope now rests in aen. ;(
