So, I hear #rpgcafe is planning a Civ 4 game? What's the skinny? Is there any organization? Who's playing? Who's hosting?

Details, man. Let's get this organized. STAT.

I'm interested in playing, though there's no way I can host. As for a time, Sundays are best for me, Saturdays a bit less so.

I'm more interested in a PBEM option since, you know, civ4's feckin' long enough with just one player, let alone several.

Also works, as I remember spending three hours playing with Rasis and Stel and just getting to the Renaissance as we all began to pass out.

Yeah, we'll either have to do PBEM (sadface but happyface for game happening at all) or a few hours there few hours here (happyface but sadface for difficulty getting everyone on at once)

PBEM games take/last for fucking ever, but are minimal time investment at one given instant.

Either works I guess.

I'm happy with most anything. I'd just like to see a big and crazy game happen.

Also, Beyond the Sword? Or just vanilla Civ IV?

I've got Beyond the Sword and am game for it. I'll settle for vanilla Civ4 though.

Rasis and I played last night. It is safe to say that he was pwnd. Although, since he was on his own continent, most of the pwning was self-inflicted.
