Bunch of new stuff FFVII stuff came out @ E3 recently. Check out this PS3 tech demo, which is basically a remake of the FFVII intro (supposedly rendered in realtime on ps3 hardware). The demo has led to speculation that Square-Enix is working on a FFVII remake- Highly doubtful, but interesting nonetheless. Square would make a killing if they were to redo the series though...

That trailer was sweet.

I'm also anticipating the release of Advent Children, though, I kind of have mixed feelings on all the other FFVII stuff coming out.
