I just wanted to prod discussion of real (uhh ... to such extent as one saying 'I would make a game with a _') jobs/classes. No reason, just marking a claim on the following, for now:
Telomage-master and weaver of all fibrous and clothy things.
Mnemurge (or Mnemomurge)-keeper of old, largely forgotten things, and memories.
Binder-Funny name. Until such time as that stupid grin is locked on your face, and the laugh freezes in your throat.

Damn, I'm all talk. I keep discussing things, without doing much work. At least I tend to know what I'm talking about. I have tried harder to draw my characters, and I do let them talk.
...
Ptoleon the Mnemurge: Hello.
Ranpert Rent, Telomage: Good to speak with ye.
Marc, the Binder: We'll be about, evenutally.
...
Is this psychologically dangerous?

We're getting pretty high on the freaky-meter, guys.

Some threads start mundane and turn surreal, some are born that way.

Sorry. I'm responsible for the anonymous reply. I think I did it just before my computer logged out on me. I guess it detracted from any real discussion. I began this thread here because I thought an all-caps title would be more appropriate here.
Anyway, without considering the trouble of designing/implementing stuff characteristic to the class, what sorts of classes would y'all make up. Uh, 'ye' need not confer an accent. I think it's the second-person plural (obsoleted). [you+you=ye]?

That is, I, yhnmzwcs, am responsible for the first two anonymous posts. I just tried to edit my post, and got the following:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/mcgrue/vrpgtng_header/classes/message_board.class.php on line 173

I know I might just totally destroy the scintillating original topic of this thread, but I want to show something to everybody.
Behold:

Yes. That's already been addressed in the site help forum. We gotta wait until Grue gets the spare time to: 1) move the server, 2) find out where exactly the non-object is being passed.

yhnmzwcs says: that's it. this thread seems dead. damn.
(+] a tombstone for it.

yhnmzwcs (I am nearly my own committee, it seems--can I get the title 'Committee of One', someone?) says:
Here's another title to chew on:
Nightmare Thaumaturge.
It has that neat effect of two nouns and one's used as an adjective that I find interesting and maybe more common in V/C games. Someone should post to the topic other than me. I claim the last anonymous post purporting to be mine.

If I weren't responsible for more than half of the posts, this thread would qualify as pretty active.

I think.
