Freeyellow decided to get rid of all the free accounts. There are still some others out there. I'm wondering what you guys think would be the best choice. In what way do I have to sell my soul to get them to give me webspace for free? Everyone knows these days that popups are useless and hardly anyone ever clicks banner ads.

You'd be better off telling us what it's for; how much bandwidth it'll take and how many megs you'll need.

I'd say go pay host- I've used 34sp.com before and they rock. It's like $15 for the entire year and you can use either a subdomain from them or your own domain.

Free hosts have and always will suck.

Use free.prohosting.com. More space than Geocities or Altavista or Spaceports, and more bandwidth. It's not perfect but it's not bad.

I'm lazy. I just use the webspace my ISP gives me. Not that I've had a real "site" for a while. It mostly just gets used for hosting random images.

Like this one.

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
