So.

Who likes Mexican food? I do. Some dishes aren't my favorite (I can't stand piles of peppers or onions), but I occassionally enjoy spiciness and especially cheeses in my foods so Mexican works well. Enchiladas, burritos, tostadas, quesadillas...those are all pretty rad.

And. Ever eaten at a McAllister's Deli? I just discovered a restaurant called 'McAllister's Deli' near my college a month or two ago, and they have really yummy food and lots of potato dishes. Whee! I'm hungry. Currently 2:06 PM EST. Probably I'll go for Mexican.

Also! The Diver Down theme on this site is really neat! Easy on the eyes.

Beef burritos are sweet action. I like to load them with jalepenos. Taco Bell is not the greatest 'Mexican' restaurant, but it's the only one in our town (of which I know), and it is also my preference in fast food. So, going out of town is a treat, because of better restaurants. Also, when my parents decide to cook some of the stuff though, it's good. Another thing I like is curry. Spicy food is rad.

We used to have a Taco Bell, but it ended up leaving town...we actually have a local Mexican restaurant which does pretty well though. Over the past few years, it's slowly seemed to get more expensive... Never tried curry.

You are all deprived. Living in Texas, there is a wealth of Mexican food, although it is of a variety called 'Tex-Mex'. I like it a lot though. Better than Taco Bell. Although you can't beat TB on value. A buck for a half pound burrito? Hell yes.

It's been...I'd say near six years since I've had Taco Bell...oh, wait. I'm getting a vision...of...the Mexican Pizza dish...Maybe, three years?

I don't have a Taco Bell story but I do have a Taco Time story!

About...hmm....7 years ago I was with my Dad and sister and we decided to go through the Drive Thru at Taco Time. Just behind the building is our town's community centre with various sports fields around it. On that fatefull day, as luck would have it, there was a game of baseball going on! So there we are getting our food handed to us when all of a sudden a foul ball smashes the back window of our car! My Dad went to go let the baseball team know what they had done and instead of apologising they simply asked for their ball back! He wasn't very happy and we haven't used the Drive Thru at taco time since. :P I actually haven't eaten mexican food outside of my house in a few years either.

In any event, I'm not a huge fan of mexican food but I am a religious eater of nachos and burritos.

Athletes are always assholes!

OK, my taco bell story: We decided to go through the drive thru backwards (this was a good like eight years ago probably). And, they wouldn't give us our food until we turned around. The end.

P.S. The Double Decker was delicious.

Ever tried actually walking through a drive through? I don't know why people stare at you so much.

Bummer on that baseball story though. And what's a 'Taco Time'? Never heard of it.

I worked at Wendy's for a couple of months and the managers always got really pissed if you even asked why they won't serve people who walk through the drive through. To this day, I still don't know why. I think there are places that will serve someone on foot, but I think it's generally frowned upon. I have no idea why. But never work at a fast food place if you enjoy fast food. :X Actually never work at a fast food place. It's a really shitty job. :P

Taco Time is basically another version of Taco Bell (as far as I know, I have never been to a Taco Bell). So it's kind of like what Wendy's is to McDonald's, or something. *shrugs*

There's a place in Amherst, MA that makes the best burritos I've ever had. They are huge. One is definitely a meal. And they load it up with fresh tomato, parseley, garlic, black beans, rice, and two cheeses (monterey jack and queso con blanco). That's pretty much how I make them at home, though I also put in whatever hot peppers I have available (did it with habaneros once, and will probably NOT be doing that again any time soon).

I make a pretty mean chili, too.

Is that going to be a running gag around here? :)

I prefer enchildas to burritos actually. Chicken enchilada, cheese-stuffed enchilada, with rice and refried beans is pretty good. Flan for desert is also excellent. Flan is good.

Chocolate tacos (aka starfish) in Grue's case, of course.

No, consider yourself lucky.

I think the present Poet Laureate of the United States put it best in his journeyman offering:

I wanted to get in a pooper hole one day;
so I invited girls over on Super Bowl Sunday.
