Tatzen	Actually we're finding that their v3 logo goes farther back than ours does. Which doesnt necessarily mean someone stole it. It's a pretty logical design and I could see more than one person coming up with identical logos of this nature. A circle around a 3 sided shape with a 3 subtracted from it? Pretty simple. vecna	After some wayback machine research, it seems their V3 logo dates back to 2000, meaning they didnt copy us BUT, we've been putting V's inside circles since 1998 (V2 logo) which our v3 logo was basically a natural extension of. evilbob also made gear-shaped logo with basically the same properties way back for the "original" version of v3 (circleish gear thing, with triangle-v and a 3 in the middle), leading me to believe the logo is just logistically obvious for anything abbreviating V3. vecna	Khross: their logo was first. Here's our logo progression however: V2 logo from 1998. (couldn't find a larger version quickly, but you get the idea) evilbob's original v3 logo, ripped from an intro-avi he made way back when and for fun, here's Falthorn defiling bob's work :D .. thank god we didn't go with C#. (yes, theres's a bloody 3 on the kitten's head if you look closely) Current logo. I don't think the progression is that much of a stretch. Posted on 2004-04-19 05:17:38
