Thanks. It's actually a hamburger (half eaten), and they're actually men.

Omni

true-paye?

Troupe

Really? I always pronounced it "loreshun"....

...

Troupe = troop.

loretian

A lot of people pronounce my name different ways.

I think the most common pronunciation is lore-ay-shun.

My pronunciation is lor-it-ti-an, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who uses that.

So all in all, I still win, because you still only have one syllable! hahahah.

vecna

Yeah, wtf. I've always pronounced it lor-ee-shian. 'lor-it-ian' my nipple.

loretian

Considering the high esteem in which your nipples are held, I'll take that as a compliment.

Troupe

I've actually always pronounced it "lore-ET-ian". So I was close! Damn you people and your crazy nicknames, I still can't figure out how to pronounce "arias". "AIR-ee-us"? "Uh-RYE-us"? Who knows.

Omni

Omni is pretty easy.

Unless you're "ohm-knee", "ohm-neye."

mcgrue

I pronounced it Lore-et-ian until I was corrected scornfully in person.

Scorn heals all wounds! :D

zaril

People pronounce zaril as "serrill" or something, which is plain wrong. It's supposed to be "SAW-rill" just kill the tiny tiny W sound if you normally pronounce it.

Gayo

It's the curse of the Great Vowel Shift.

Funny, I've always mentally pronounced it as "z-aa-rill": not an "s," a "z."

zaril

Yeah well, ZAW would have confused people. so.. SAW-rill, but the S is pronounced as a Z.

so points go to you, and Loretian has always been Lore-ee-tea-un for me.

mcgrue

Low Retian and Guyo.

Alex

If any of you people had proper names, there would be no confusion. ;)

Gayo

Yeah, in retrospect I kind of wish I'd gone with "Gaio", since that's how it's pronounced. I honestly didn't even think of the "gay" aspect of the name when I came up with it, and "Gaio" seemed like the natural pronunciation for "Gayo". That might be a regional thing, though.

Actually, I guess I don't wish I'd done it properly. It's part of my cachet now.
