I forgot to shade the mast, but I'm so fucking sick of this picture that I'm not going to do it right now.

Won't it look better from an over-the-shoulder view with the horizon in sight? The guy can be in silouhette, and that'll probably look cooler.

I guess it's too late though. :/

I approve of the buckles on Darin's vest-thing.

Regardless of the flaws, it is still quite an accomplishment. Do what you can, call it finished, be proud. I think I'd be proud if I could draw like that. Heck, maybe I can. Maybe someday I'll find out.

If he was in silhouette, the pose would be ambiguous. Also, I debate whether it'd look 'cooler.'

BTW, Omni: I'm curious what problems stand out. I'm pretty new at this.

When I said problems I only meant to reference your own dissatisfaction with it. You do point out a shading problem, but my point was that regardless I would still consider it quite an accomplishment. I am somewhat envious of artistic ability.

Ah, OK. Concrit's good if anyone has advice, though. I know there are some scarily good sprite artists hiding out on this board.

Fair enough, Gayo. It's your pic. :)
