Here's a song I created when I was bored earlier today. It kind of goes downhill because my inspiration towards musical composition declined as I went further into making this. Anyway, enjoy. Comments or criticism on this (hopefully)?

I wish I could play piano...

That's really good though. I actually like the last half better than the first half, and in particular the last ten seconds. I like how it goes progressively higher and stuff. Kinda has a whispy feel to it.

...Er, well, I'd comment on the melody or something technical but I'm not sure how. Does 'good and whispy' suffice? :)

Omni, thanks for the comments, man. You're not the only one who wishes they could play piano, heh. Modplug Tracker saves the day! It wasn't exactly my intention for 'wispy', but now that I listen to it, I do sense that kind of thing happening. Also, if you have it on repeat it should loop at the latter portion of the song (or at least it does under Modplug). Not like music is amazing enough to need repeat or something.

I still can't measure up to greatness of Troupe, Rysen, Zaril, or Zathras (among others), especially since I don't like to spend lots of time on music making. But, meh, I'm not trying all that hard.

My problem is that I can think of a type of mood to create with music, and then I can identify tunes and songs that are similar to what I'd like to do, but when it's time to pick instruments, set the beat, and find a melody, I just kinda blank out.
