Continuing the adventures of the musically impaired...

My original idea was to take what I learned about chord progression and timing and try something new...

So, timing, yeah, progression, etc. But, ...I kinda ran out of a creative way to lead this, so. Maybe I'll work on it more later.

Random NES Tune

Honestly, I feel a little bad just taking up the space on V-RPG for this...

Hmmm....
I have to consider the fact that you are working under the restriction of NES samples and 4 channels...

I would think that you're not musically impaired, and that you just don't try hard enough or don't have enough time to track something very complex.

Of course, this may be because I play an instrument.

Er, well, I've been working on it since I posted this. It's still not complex, but it did occur to me that even if criticism is good, it's a waste of many people's time to criticize a nowhere near complete product.

...but, ...well, anyway. I'll keep at it.

Funny, it says 'Winamp media file' but doesn't run on Winamp. What's up with my PC?

Oh? Erm, how do you play it?

......er...it runs in Winamp fine for me.

Not that it's completely worth listening to, but try heading to http://www.modplug.com and download Modplug Tracker and Player. Tracker allows you to create songs, Player lets you listen to them (and can play the tune I made above).

Thanks, I'll try that and give you some feedback.

Alright, it worked. :)

It does sound mysterious enough, but it gets somehow messed up near the end. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it feels like you rushed it.

Is the buzzing effect part of the sample? It sure could do without it, but that's just me.

Omni

Not sure about the buzzing. It is ...crappy NES instruments, after all.

Oh alright.
