I make a 16-bit CHR. I put it in my game. The game still works, but the CHR has a pink background, and it looks like a few of the colors are distorted. Is there something wrong with my computer, or is it something else?

Make sure you have the parts you want transparent rgb:255,0,255, and make sure you have the latest directx.
Hope that helps.

I have directx 8, and I was just playing your real-time battle system demo, and the colors are still distorted. Thanks for trying, anyway.
Could someone tell me why my 16-bit CHR's are acting weird?

Abominous also sees the boxes. What's odd, is the transparency on the layers isn't affected.
I've downloaded and run my demo from two different computers, both properly displayed the .chrs.
Perplexed...

It's got to do with your hardware. Evidently, you have a 1555 card, and not one of the more typical 565 cards.
Basicly, it means that it's just your computer, (and a few other rare cases) and it'll be fixed soon. ^_^
