First of all, I feel this is one of the longest and best verge RPGs that i have played. Few issues.. like unless i close many programs, it runs very slow (even on an Athlon 750 w/ 256 megs ram), but that thats Verge's fault. My main question is: How do you answer the questions correctly ?!?! its like driving me mad. I have Garth, Aissa, Lyviana, Marron and Ebon in my party... and I just cant seem to get it right. I had the same problem and no one answered me... I just kept going on randomly and eventually got it. sorry I can't really help.

I assume this is the word fight with Khalassa, right? (but maybe you already solved it) Just to think about the characters, their natures should be somewhat obvious at that point with maybe the exception of Ebon...
-Garth fight for freedom
-Aissa likes Marron despite how odd and 'wrong' he is at times
-Lyviana feels the need to do something, not because it is her duty as a princess but because she loves her country
-Marron is 'trapped' by love
-Ebon came because he is good hearted, not wishing to Shawrian get the Crystal...

Thats what I had original tried, and have just tried again, but it still "books me a ticket to hell", even though its the correct answers. So, maybe a small bug or something ?

That's odd... I am SURE I have tested that part a zillion thousand times... *laugh* Tell you what, I'll check the code and see if there's anything odd about it and send you a patch file if so... =)

It works just fine, at least for me... I just tested (played through) that part of the game... And the code looks OK, too, and I know others have played that part with those characters as well...
First of all, here's the actual answers:
Garth: for freedom
Aissa: Because of what he is
Marron: Love
Lyviana: I love my country
Ebon: I do not want Lady Shawrian to misuse the Flame Crystal
Try that once again, if it does not work (I do not understand why it would not), you can grab the savefile here, it is saved just after you have answered the questions correctly.

Thanks! It worked, I had kept choosing the wrong one for Aissa. But, a new bug. This is V1 though, the town of Fellmore (sp?), first town of the 3rd chapter, page faults when one tries to enter. Eh.. in my memory of V1... its probably either my computer, something to do with music,or, V1 just doesnt like the map. Page faults suck.. I remember them from my BS coding days, beh :P. But, as far as that part, I defenitaly say that the game is extremely good, and I cant wait for further releases!!! Excelt work ^_^

I'd be surprised NOT to see the game crash at some points... That's why I bring up the savegame menu quite often... Or do you mean that it happens every single time you try to enter the town? Cos usually, do something else a while, exit programs, restart computer, try to play again then, the 'problem' should be gone... or just try again and again and again... that's the only way to get over the pagefaults that have nothing to do with the code or entities(missing) or anything... Thankees.
