Yes, you should. Check the verge source to read my attempt at a tutorial. There are also some demos in which real code is used to do real things, for example, "RTFD, the Game". Then look for some more demos, code and tutorials. No offence, but this is a very, very basic question. You should be able to solve this in a matter of seconds, at most.
And the answer to the question is (without code), you have to make a warp function, so read the vergec.txt very carefully, and find how to manipulate the character.tx etc variables. I like to help more, but don't want to write the code for you. Just keep at it, and you should be able to do this on your own.

Stop with all the fighting!
Ear: It's ok...It's not Jesusfreak's fault that he can't spell...or has good grammar...or probably can barely read.
JesusFreak: Relax bud! Don't take it all personally. Ear just messing with your head! Just take a deep breath, bust out a English book and review your grammar. ok?
I have once again made this board better for all mankind (and womankind)...Come Dynomutt! Up, Up, and Away...WEEEEEEEEEE

Your question has been answered numerous times, and yet you keep on flooding, essentially saying "do it for me". Read the docs, and learn it yourself. We've told you how, now it's up to you to do it.

Event //Autoexec
{
SetPlayer(EntitySpawn(1,2));
}
//That's to set your main chr at whatever X/Y spots.
//I'm new to coding so I might be wrong
or...
You can keep all your entities on one spot of the map and warp them to where ever.
