Heh... not a bad job of fitting my question onto the topic line, huh! (:

Anyway, thus far, for the past MANY MANY YEARS, I've been using ScreamTracker to compose S3Ms, but now I have this piece of crap laptop running this piece of crap OS (Windows ME... UGH!), and it has an appropriately piece-of-crap sound card installed (it's more like FOURTH or FIFTH party than anything else). As a result, ScreamTracker absolutely WILL NOT recognize my sound card, no matter WHAT I do.

Now, I haven't tried ImpulseTracker yet, but seeing as how it's basically a rip-off of ScreamTracker to begin with (with a few extra features added and a better default color scheme, of course), I suspect it'll do the same thing.

So... does anyone know of any ways to make this work? (:
