Okay, I've been seeing tons of "I'm a newbie" posts, lately...

This is not necessarily a bad thing, except that it doesn't seem as though any of you read any of the other "I'm a hopeless newbie" posts so this board has degenerated into a huge series of repetitious posts.

I would, therefore, like to make a simple suggestion...

Head over to the Verge Source (http://www.vergesource.com/) and read the Frequently Asked Questions.

If you want to go DIRECTLY to the FAQ just head over here: http://www.vergesource.com/articles/view/38/ but it wouldn't hurt to scope out the rest of the site as well...at present it offers far more by way of articles, tutorials, sample code, etc...

I should note, however, that there is some scheduled downtime for later today (Saturday) while the server makes some upgrades, so don't be alarmed if you can't get there right away.

Anyway, this is not a shameless plug, but a sincere offering of aid to those in need. Verge-RPG is great, but at present it's still lacking in the content department.

I hope this helps at least one of you.

Also, don't be afraid to read http://www.vergesource.com/articles/view/20/ which tells you how to get into #vchelp which is, by far, the best place to go if you are having serious problems. The helpful populous there can help you out by directing you to more informative documentation and by answering your questions outright ^_^

Anyway, I've rattled on long enough.

I hope this helps...

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
Verge-rpg.com is a member of the lunarnet irc network, and would like to take this opportunity to remind you that regardless how babies taste, it is wrong to eat them.
