I went to the vergesource and I looked up the support for V2K for the imaging/colors. and it said that it supported 16 bit, ans so on, sooo, i made a picture with 256 ( image folio ) colors and then i loaded it up with my map. IT came out in two shades of grey!! ( was 2 shades of blu) and when i made a 256 shade grey picture, it came out in two different COLORS!!!( it is supposed to be grey), and whenever I try to make a bmp, it does not recognize it....

what is wrong?????

If it is 256 colour, then the picture might be the wrong pallette. I'm not sure if that matters on V2.5 though...

TheGerf, not just any gerf.

V2.5 does not default to 16 bit mode, you have to tell it to use it by putting hicolor in user.cfg. That should solve the color problems.

a new prob has arisen.. I put hicolor in my user.cfg, and the PIC WORKED PERFECTLY but my character was messed up, it was all hot red, ans green very flurescent(mispell i know) the chr is boy.chr...
all of my other entities are fine though... but when i load up into a new map ( known on my directory as mini)
it loads up prefectly..
is this a fixable glitch???
() should i try a new ype of CHR CONV?? ( I HAVE V2 CHR CONV)
