okay,ive had verge 1 and 2 for quite a while now and i STILL dont get it. i have read every notepad,but everytime i try and do something,it dont work.like the status screen and events.its like half of the programs for verge dont even work.am i doing somthing wrong? or should i wait for V3 to come out?

are you running XP? What actually happens when you use these programs? Do you have all the startup files, and, if not, do you know how to make them?

I feel for you.. for I too used to get pissed at my non-existant understanding of verge. I used to think vcc was supposed to have some kinda graphical interface and that i was supposed to write one single file for ALL the code in the game... what you have to do is look at how other people did their games(assuming you fins one that has all its vc's etc) and rip them apart and look at them and figure out how they did it... then try to make your now... if yours dosent work then compare it to the other game that does work... hope that helps...-X3

that's what has led me to work on my own 3d engine, my code, my programming, none of this confusing compilation stuff that I get lost in with verge.. plus it allows me total freedom.
