Hey, sorry guys. Vecna and I have been busting our asses fixing a bunch of bugs and incompatibilities with the engine and the game. Everything is going great, and we're past the point of any big problems. Anything we find takes minutes to fix, but unfortunately every half hour or so that I play leads to another bug. An easy fix, but a crash nonetheless, and had I released this game as is to appease you guys, it would only ruin the game experience for you.

So what is gonna end up happening is I'm gonna need to playthrough the entire game in windows. I'm 25% through the game right now. Seeing as how I've got another 10 hours of SAVED PLAYTIME to go, not counting all the in-between, I'm gonna have to announce that the windows version of Diver Down will have to be released in about a week. I had wanted to do it this weekend but I just can't guarantee a quality release.

On the plus side, the Windows version is infinitely more stable than the DOS version, with no crashes (or bugs reported to me) being unaddressed. I'll release a DOS and a WIN version when they are ready. Thanks.

Waiting a week or so is no big deal, and I'd say it's worth it to be bug free. Anyways, good to hear that this is still progressing :P

Amen, brother RPGKing. Praise the Lord!

It's great to here it will be out soon. Almost thought Grenideer had given up on it for the moment.

Winv2 Diver Down is coming! Yes!

It is not wrong to not understand, for we are all ignorant, but neither is understanding pointless.

Sorry to ask a question that you probably don't want to hear ( :D ), but what's the current status on the WinV2 version of Diver Down? I'm really interested in playing this game (and probably writing a formal review of it), but I haven't been able to get it to work on my machine, even when booted from DOS (video problem perhaps, or more likely the old "no sound" bug).

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
