ltcmdstarbuck	I was fiddling around with verge and I came up with a map of a Defiant-Class ship in verge. I then tweaked it up with opening doors and things like that. It should be postable in a day or two. Posted on 2001-01-21 15:25:41

loretian	To show my geekiness: Every class of ship is named after the first production model of that ship. The Enterprise 1701-A was Constitution class because the first ship of it's type was called the Constitution. The Enterprise-D is a Galaxy class, because the first one of it's type was the Galaxy. If you recall, when the Defiant was introduced, it was called a prototype that was never mass-produced... until later.
