Oiy...I've been hearing about that stuff all day. I don't want to sound like some guy that just doesn't care, but I've got a headache from all of this as it is, having to sit there all day at school today and listen to people ramble about the same thing over and over again that I just heard twenty minutes ago.
I don't mean to be rude, but this is NOT a world news message board. I came here to get away from that during computer science, and what do I see? People blabbering at the top of their lungs about the -same- thing I came here to not think about.
It gets rather annoying. Just please, there are plenty of other places to ramble on about the situation, and I suggest this not be one of them. This is basically a gaming community, right? So then let's talk about those! Anything to get off -that-, it just makes my headache even worse.
Sorry to go off on a sputtering and raving rant, but I just had to say something

This isn't the only gaming community messageboard where stuff like this is posted. I've been to several others that have the same thing. It just shows how concerned people are, I guess.

ok so Im not the only one. I care and all, had many people in both locations and have a cousin working as a Boston airlines stuardess but I too am sick of hearing about it. Its like columbine... people probably wont let it go for a long time... And when you dont get all broken up about it with them 25 times a day for a couple months after the actual event they think your an emotionless dick.

It's like comparing apples and oranges. A school shooting and a widescale terrorist murder plot just don't mix. And I'm sure this will go on for weeks.

I know what you mean... but its not every day that America gets bitch slapped and stomped on by terrorists. It is the largest terrorist attack.... ever, and they did manage to hit the pentagon and level the World Trade Center by hi jacking 4 comercial airliners with knives at about the same time. Basically.. I am trying to point out that this was some big sh*t. Bigger than Pearl Harbor and the Kenedy assination. Perhaps it doesnt have place on a gaming board... but the gen. board is more for a community purpose, bleh. I need to do home work.

Yeah. This affects with no doubt the whole world, directly and indirectly.

It's sick! Bush wan't kick ass, and if he do, we'll have WW3 aroubd the corner pretty soon.

No doubt this'll be like Princess Di's death. They'll talk about it on the news *every* year on its anniversary until we all die. At least they haven't blamed it on video games yet. Hell, MS Flight Simulator could *easily* be at fault!

That is all.

I don't mean to seem like a dick, but I am going to.
This is also a response to this entire thread.
This is probably if not definitely one of the most major events in American history, and I can't believe that anyone would say that they are sick of hearing about it. Frankly, I wish I could hear more of it. This is IMPORTANT, this WILL BE REMEMBERED EVERY YEAR. Like Joshito said, this is worse than Pearl Harbor. It isn't like they are military personal, there are more civilians dead then I would care to even think about. This has to be the most horrible day in our history. I just can't believe anyone would go around complaining about hearing about it all the time. If hearing about it gets you mad, then leave the fucking US, you don't belong here if you don't care about this. Do you even understand how much this effects people. God, I am just so mad at everything right now, this is rediculous. Well, I've said enough, flame away I don't care, but I just can't believe someone would be so heartless to say what you said Katsuya.

The weston in copley (boston, where I live) and a hotel in chestnut got raided by FBI and SWAT teams with AKs and what not.. snipers... bomb squads... they released the detained persons. Lots of bomb threats in Boston, supposedly 4 terrorists got away in the city. Also just a bomb scare at the John Hancock garage. I heard a serious bomb threat at Empire state too. Also Nato confirmed article 5. This is very different from columbine. This is real things, not some fuckhead little kid blasting a gun in a school. But... I dont know... it just not real, and quite frankly, some what scary. Beh. I agrea fully with Vegito. Thanks for the post.

alright alright, you obviously didn't read my post well enough. I never said I'm sick of hearing about UPDATES of what's been going on, but the SAME DAMN THING EVERYWHERE I GO. Call me heartless if you want, I have been before, but once I hear something, then I usually don't want to hear it again, unless there's something new to add onto it. But so far all I've heard the past two days is the same exactly thing over and over and over and over...it gives me a damn headache. I come here to get my mind off of it and talk about something else...bam, someone's gone off on a rant talking about it already. Understand what I'm saying now? Oh, also, don't say what I do and don't care about, because frankly you know crap about me.
