... using gfx_soft.dll lets me do funky and beautiful lighting using alpha blending. However, I can't run it full screen, and in a window, PaletteMorph doesn't work, severly killing my OTHER funky and beautiful lighting.
... using gfx_soft16.dll lets me run full screen, which allows me to do my funky and beautiful PaletteMorph lighting. However, my funky and beautiful alpha blending is comparable to Will Saso in a tube top.
Alpha blending doesn't run full screen.
PaletteMorph doesn't work in a window.
Is there hope?
Also, on a totally different note, how to you generate a random number in Python? I know it's not as simple as Random()...

Can your graphics card handle 32bpp graphics modes? If it can't, you're sort of out of luck in that regard. :\ The upside is that both drivers will eventually implement PaletteMorph in windowed mode too.
eheheheh, it is as simple as that. value=Random(min, max) ^_^

Yes, my graphics card can do 32bpp, but it's kind of a weird card (onboard SiS).
As for the random thing : :P~ Stupid Shlock.
Bug report: When I play a sound, no matter what I do with the panning, it always only plays on the right speaker... music is fine, tho.
