The board is being pissy with me and won't let me post a new thread. WTF? It never lets me post new threads, only replies. So, apologies to LBTomBomb for dropping this OT BS under his post (but keep reading... I'll make up for it :)

So...

I tracked a kewl song this morning and I wrote lyrics to it. d/l and give me your opinions.

P.S. I promised I'd make up for it! When you enter Emil, there is a bluebird sitting near the entrance. If you go near him, he flies away. Follow him in the direction he flew (I think he flies down first) and walk behind all the trees that you find in that direction. When you come to the right tree you'll scare him out of it and he'll fly away again. Chase him around like this for 3-4 trees and then he flies into a house in the top-right of the map. The house is locked, but if you knock on the door, he comes flying out and you can get the egg. (I'm pretty sure that's right... haven't played it in a bit and I'm too lazy to go find out for sure =P)

This was public enemy number one among problems people had with that preview version. I made it easier in the current incarnation. Not sure if this in in that v1 release but once the bird flies down you can ask the lady you pass walking down and she'll tell you it flew towards the elder's house (the first tree it hides in).

In the v2 version I think I have someone mention a clue or two about the bird, and he chirps when you get close to him also.

Thanks for playing! Although I wouldn't recommend interested people play that old version, but instead wait a bit for the v2 demo of Act 1 to be released. I hate playing through the same plot events over and over when different versions of games are constantly released myself.

BTW, to those that don't know, there's a secret in that version - if you search the dresser in the inn you find a torch. A single use torch item, so if you use it prematurely you're screwed. But find the cave in the mountains and enter, then use the torch, and you're on a secret map! Really it's just more of the plot that I never got to yet that you can see, but that'll all be in the demo.

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
