Sorry I haven't been too active, failing school and drawing dragons for your RPG take a lot out of ya. =) I just wanted to ask a quick question, I'm doing all animations, pictures, and stuff before going into the code, so it may take my 1-man game a while, but I wanted to ask. My character designs are all 40X40, and my dragons are 200X200. I want to make certain before going on, are these character sizes going to be useable in verge 2? I know it was said a long while ago that all character sizes are definable, I guess I'm worried that, instead of the dragon overlapping the characters that get next to it, or sunk into the background, that the transparent "wall" around it is going to make a 200X200 object rather than a 16X16 or user-definable one. In the battle sequences, one dragon is on the player's side, and needs to get close enough to swipe, breath, and cast at monsters, and I need to make certain the size is useable. Thanks a bunch.

PS. The Realm of Trebezia is still in operation, just taking a LONG ASS time to get anything worthy of note. I wish I had Sheng Long's devotion and creative ability, but alas, I'm a slow, retarded, kindergarten-style artist who takes forever to get done with 1 character. Heh, my dragons are going to all look like 13-uplettes because the 1 dragon I finished is the mold for all others. As for animations, I finally did some of Rubin's animations for walking down, and, that's where I ended too, so I'm putting character animations as prolly a dead last thing. *sigh* Anyway..... not many probably care about my projects, but that's to catch people up. Also, thanks to anyone who can answer my above question.

I did some work with larger than normal chr's. There is a program that you can use to add space to the sides of chr's, called chrsize.exe. You can find it at the verge source. Then if you go into the V2 chr editor, there is a button called stats. In that you will see fields called hotspots. Now here's the trick. V2 spports larger that normal chr's graphicly, but not obstruction wise. But you can use the hotspots to change where in the 200x200 chr that 16x16 obstruction block will fall. So at least your dragon will be centered. If you are still confused, e-mail me, and I will send you an example chr I did.

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
