Dude! That's awesome. I'm not much of an art guy, but that is really good. It also seems to be more of an original anime-style.
The only thing I can think of changing is I think his ear may be low low.

Beutiful.

Did you use a stylus, or try to use a mouse? I can see that some of the contour is uneven (like on the sword) as if a mouse was used.
