Alright, here it is: http://lunarfiles.50megs.com
Don't be too harsh on me; it's my first game, after all ^_^ (*gah* I hate those faces, but it gets the point across). Anyway, questions, comments, etc. are welcome and encouraged...

Note: This isn't meant to be a serious game; it's just an exercise to hone my skills with a (once) unfamiliar interface. The whole thing is more of a tech demo than anything else. That is, unless someone out there wants me to write a story and develop the game a bit. Anyone?

50 megs wants "authentication" before I can download it. I'm guessing it wants your name and password from me. Let me know when/if it works.

Huh? You should only have to go to the page for it to work...make sure that you click the links from the page. If that doesn't work I'll think of something else. Also, try clicking on an ad or two; I'm not really sure how 50 megs works...

Not too shabby,I must say. Here's what I like
1:
Not plagued with bugs.
2:
FF art, nothin like swiping. (quickin' easy)
3:
It's just cool.
Not bad for your first game anyway. You should try using your
own art though.

Thanks! Any suggestions, areas where I can improve it?

I like the rotating triangles in the upper left corner. They're cool. The text box prints _way_ too slowly, though. I still don't understand your lighting thing. Why does the whole room get brighter just because you are standing closer to a light? It makes absolutely no sense. I think you should just use one of your map layers to create shadows instead. I mean, why does your proximity to a light source control the ambient light in the area?

*Ack* it's SO much easier to just fade the whole screen; anyway, by the time you're close enough to see the light it's already lighting up the area it's supposed to. Also, I can do special effects like flickering candles that would be impossible with a static shadow layer.
I don't exactly relish the idea of creating a whole lotta shadow tiles, either. ;)
About the textbox: hold down ctrl to make the text go faster. Sheesh, don't you people read the readme?
