Hey,

Someone pointed out to me a good idea for Verge. How about someone a totally integrated environment for Verge with CHR, map, and script editor all connected in one nice little application? I think this would make Verge feel a little bit more together. Or perhaps someone has thought of this before and I don't remember. ^_^

And when was the latest Verge demo to come out? I don't believe I've seen one in a while, unless I don't remember the latest demo either. ^_~

I forgot about Dragon Warrior Legend already. O.O Sorry. Forget about that last part of my other post.

Last I heard tSB wanted to port MapEd to a good GUI development API called wxWindows. I promptly asked him to make WinMapEd an MDI (one window that can hold other windows within itself) client and I think he agreed...or was just saying random things at me that would make me shutup. Then I said something about how a version of WinMapEd that did the above would make it so that all I needed was WinMaped and my text editor to make a great game easily. Then he said that wxWindows has a good text editor widget(plugin) or something; He didn't leave a hint as to if he would do any of this or not.
On a side note, CLIPs made a IDE and then Cyberdude made an IDE so they're out there. But they're not truly all packaged up into one simple program- besides the code editor features such as MapEd and Chr editors are just "links" to the real programs you must supply.

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
