yes. i am sort of new to this whole verge scene. i have know about it for some time but never have i really tried it out. i am not a programmer. I am a graphic artist so the whole idea of a c++ based engine frightens me. up to this point the only things that i have any experience with are the OHRRPGCE and SPRITE.
so, you can probably guess that verge language will turn out not so nice on my end.
my main questions retain to what are the capabilites of this engine and what is the best way to learn them. explaining c++ is not going to do a lot as i have never exposed myself to the language. incidently, if there are any projects posted on this site that require the services of an anime style artist, feel free to visit my site and drop me a line
The Fantasy Edge
i look forward to any imput that you people can offer and with any luck... or a few programmers.... i too can join the ranks of the verge library.

C++ is by no means necessary. If anything, VC resembles C more than it's OOP cousin.
It's not very hard by any means, however, and there's no shortage of material on the subject at the VERGE Source. (link at the left)
So, read up, and bitch at us on #vchelp (irc.esper.net if you have an IRC client) if you can't figure it out!
And, don't run with scissors, or something. It's bad.
