Don't read the very for post, its messed up, so I posted, don't read that post, then I made a page, and posted the url, the url post was posted above the don't read the above post, which makes it look like your not suposed to read either posts, but I want you to read the 2nd post with the url in it, but not the first post, the first post is almost as humiliating as the 2nd post, not the 2nd post with the url, but the 2nd post that says not to read the above posts, thats now below the one with the url....

It is possible. In fact, if you can make your game character move in eight directions, you can easily do it for the four diagonals -- just remove the code that handles up, down, left, and right.

You do end up having to write your own entity handlers, though. We're still working on that part; unfortunately, verge2 isn't so user-friendly when you're trying such things unless you're Zara. Speaking of whom, the code to his 4four demo is the best example. I just haven't been able to figure it all out as yet. ^^;

As for mapping movement to other keys, read the vergec.txt file. It talks about how you can read the key table directly.
