It's a very incomplete IRC client written in verge! It uses Python's builtin socket module, so you should also download Python at:

http://python.org/ftp/python/2.1/Python-2.1.exe
(I hadn't expected this to happen, if it becomes a problem, I'll code a socket API directly into v2.7, so that those files won't be necessary)

Can't you just include Python's socket module? I don't know if it requires other modules or not, but it might be worth a try...

I tried that when Zara downloaded it, earlier, and it was like pulling a thread from your favourite sweater. The socket module requires _socket, which requires os and so on.
