New maped2w up on my LiveJournal. The main thing of benefit here is faster rendering speed for translucency, due to the disabling of page flipping by default.

Another bug:
In this latest version if I try to import from a PCX file, I can get to the part where I get to choose between an image and a tileset, but clicking on either crashes the program for me. :S No error message or anything, and I'm not sure if it matters but I am using WinXp.

Thanks for catching this so quickly! All explained in the latest news post. As for using WinXP, maped2w should run just fine under any Windows operating system.

I'm working on a new project these days, and using the new MapED, so I'm just catching these things as they happen to me. :)

Keep up the great work. ^_^

I had no idea you were working on this program, as I haven't visited this site in over a month. I'll get to testing though, as I use Maped DOS extensively, and this should be a nice change.

After the updates, now the screenshots save to different numbers, but now screenshots are all garbled, and map captures don't even save! Also exporting vsp files outputs distorted tilesets displayed in an almost "brick-like" pattern.

Oh and, by the way, what's your progress on jwinmaped2? I'd love to see that map editor finished even more than having this port bug-free.
