I downloaded a mode 7 scropt from the Verge Source. I hooked it into my worldmap by calling the preparemodeseven() function then hookretracing the modeseven() function, then including the EndModeSeven() function when I closed the map. When I ran it, I got sort of a chopped skewed look, with all my obstruction fields off by 2. I tried fiddling with the code, but to no avail. Does any one know what I'm doing wrong?

Could you tell us what version of v2 and what bitdepth you are using? The mode 7 script was written for 8-bit, so, it will obviously have problems in hicolor. Also, v2.6 probably would cause a few more problems regardless of the bitdepth.

(NOTE: To solve the problem with using it in hicolor, you need to allocate twice as much memory, multiply each offset by two and then access words instead of bytes. If you don't understand any of this, post the script here so someone else can fix it.)

It was in standard 8-bit. I was using Verge 2.5.
