My graphics card barfs on 320x200x8 for some reason, and I wanted to try TQFA out, so I had to add windowed mode to winv1. Enjoy.

Simply add the -w switch to run it in a window, instead of fullscreen.

I accidentally deleted it(don't ask how), and was wondering...uh...if you know what the URL to Deathrose's site was? I think there should be a compilation of actual game-related Verge sites so it won't be such a pain to track 'em down...

I think I saw your elfwood gallery once. It was pretty nice. And BTW, I'm Indian too(hopefully you're who I think you are or else this last statement wouldn't have made sense) :P

First of all, thanks, it rocks :)

Secondly, I think TQFA was built with V1+ and this is a windows version of V1 so whenever I get to the first battle it crashes from "unknown VC command". I tried to open it up in V1+ to do the battle but now I can't even get into the city because it thinks I haven't gotten to that part of the game yet. It thinks that because winV1 saves games differently than V1+ most likely.

On a side note, what changes did V1+ make over normal V1. I was around then I just don't remember.

Found that out a little too late. :(

Maybe I'll get to re-adding that stuff sometime. The 'dev team' build of v1 was the one to look for. It had magic finally implemented, and a whole lot of VC functions added, the kind of things that made combat systems and such in VC realistically possible.

As I recall, (and I don't recall well) v1+ was another tweak by Wyrdwad that added some simple string routines and file i/o. Feel free to correct me on this.

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
