The character is for a game I'm making in V27. It has a TON of code done (yes, we CAN make games with only an incomplete beta- don't have to wait on your ass :P) and many maps done (which I will be posting soon- they're also my first- I'm a coder damnit ^_^). The only thing I haven't done at all is a story- I thought it would be interesting to work backwards from VERGE norm and do work graphics/code before story.

I really wish we could edit original posts ...

It looks pretty decent, but I can nitpick some things. His feet would be better if they weren't just flat at the bottom. If you made them come out more at an angle it would look more three dimensional. Also, his arms are pretty rigid. I think you had the right idea with the 2nd and 3rd stages of the chr's arms, but then you made them go straight down in the last. The only other thing that I can think of is maybe putting in a thin one-pixel think outline around him.

Now comes the hard part, animating it. =P

he's right about the arms. Looks great besides that! You might can get away with the flat bottems feet if you move his feet in 3D. Though I'm no artist ;)

I used hi-res: 640x480 for the character. It made it look a lot better :) I'm not sure if I'm for hire yet :P Really, I'm just making characters trying to learn how to make them and maps. Don't really have a story yet and not sure if I will or won't make one.
