Ok, well after disastors useing V2.6, I went back to V2. It works fine for me, and I wonder what this is all about. Why doesnt someone just do a straight port of V2 to windows, like V1 was ported. It really shouldnt be that hard, as long as the porter sticks to what was in V2, and not adding tons of new features that probably wont work too well anyways.
And about replacing VC. I think this is ok, but I wonder why tSB keeps the Verge name. To me, to be a Verge engine, it needs to have VC. All the power to him to use a more complete and stable scripting language, I just am not sure if he should use the Verge name. Eh, hope this made sense, im very tired, ^_^.

Didn't make too much sense. More like a cent and one quarter [of a cent].
Anyway, isn't v2.6 a port of V2 to windows? I guess it has the "new buggy features" and overall bugginess [?, dunno. Never used] to keep people from using it.
I think he should be able to use the Verge name if he wants, legally speaking. Its not trademarked or anything. And if you really want to get technical then Verge stopped being Verge when vecna stopped working with it. It is now just an Erge.
I was contemplating not posting this, but what does anyone care? [Please don't reply detailing the answer to this question across an ordered list of points spanning 5 pages of text]
