I'm starting a verge game that is a kagero clone only it's 2D, if it follows through, it will have multiplayer capabilities ^^ yes thats right! MULTIMAPER VERGE!!! but I need a good char artest that can do like 32x48(at least) chars... currently
Swordsman- AI coder and special effects coder
and the multiplayer coder. also my helper ^^
ZeroTail- Tiles, screen art, game coder, and organizer.
this isnt going to be that big of a team because big teams arnt very easy to handle... for more info talk to me or swordsman on

There are already serveral games with multiplayer support. So 'MULTIMAPER [sic] VERGE!!!' isn't such a big deal. Also, there's probably a lack of 'Sprite artests [sic]' on v-rpg's help board. ;)
