i got an idea for a game and i need some programmers and some artists possibly. though i will do the majority of the artwork myself. i know i asked before to join a team and i was in the process of sending a portfolio to CypherAlmasy when suddenly, kablaam! i can make a nauxiously cute game about a cucumber brought to life. bwahahahahahahaha! this ultra-kawaii game will have the most nauxiously cute names for monsters. but actually a serious plot. heh. anyways. this is all very abrupt. someone reply. : )

Darn. Missed it by THAT much.

Anywho, I wouldn't mind helping to code your game, unless you plan on making it a platformer, 'cause I know nothing about programming those. (BTW, if someone would like to teach me how to make characters jump in a sidescroller, etc., I would really enjoy it. Tuts anywhere?) As for the content of the game, it's not something that I would consider as a personal project, but. . . well, as a friend of mine used to say, whatever tickles your pickle. Well, I guess it'd be a cucumber in this case. :-)

Cool! Well, mine will be an RPG, so you won't have to worry about platformers. I've dabbled into some VERGE coding before so if you do the programming or some of it than it may be possible for me to tweak it or whatever. I'm in the process of storyboarding it all together, and it won't be very long game.

I want to redownload a stable VERGE version if possible, but I would like a recommendation for one. I still have V1 in my hard drive. And I have two versions of V2. But I've only messed around with them and nothing serious since I really don't have a clue what I'm doing.

Well, my email addy is soji_112@yahoo.com. I figure I'll just do all the mapwork(looks) and graphics and you can contribute to the coding if you want. Also, if you want I can still show you some of my serious work.

That's cool. Just let me know what you need when you need it, and I'll see what I can cook up. I'm not exactly the greatest coder in V2, but I can do basic stuff.

As far as a stable version of Verge goes, I really can't help you there. I have no idea which is more stable than any other. v2.7 (now known as "ika!")is supposed to be the best when it comes to stability, but I don't know Python, so let's stay away from there. :-) Right now, I'm working in the first beta of WinV2, so that might be a good starting point, since vecna is now actively working on the project (though his update's a bit late).

My email address is MWeir85326@aol.com (as my prof says), though you can also reach me at AmerikaJinDesu@hotmail.com. Feel free to send me some of your serious stuff so I can look over it. . . I'd appreciate it.

It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
