This new demo has improved much from the last one. Check the ChangeLog file, and if you consider it worth the time, download the demo ;)

Looks really nice so far, especially the map transitions.

Yeah, may mosiac faster by about 50%.
Also, do not include all of the miscellanious stuff like bmp2vsp, and FNTmaker, just put the engine in and mybe MapEd. it all adds up in the long run..
also, last time I downloaded the demo all that was added was the naming script, the mosiac, and 1 new- pcx map...

Hey, how do you do the mode7-esque effect on the world map? That mode_7.vc file that's floating around just cuts the screen up really badly for me...Also, I love your menus; how did you get the little symbols near the equipment names? Is that part of the font you're using or what?

'Cuz you weren't around earlier, the misc dev tools were included to try to convince others to lend a hand and make new stuff like characters etc.

Nice work so far! Keep it up!

Do you have a map builder and tile artist, tho? I haven't seen any new fields in several releases :)

I noticed it this afternoon whilst explaining a friend of mine why the SNES didn't flop (mode 7 8P). It's freakin' HUGE! I mean 300x300 tiles huge!

Btw. Sheng, great demo! The character choosing sequence has definately improved, but please try to come up with more original names..8P
As for the other stuff: thumbs up for the graphics, perhaps it's time to fire up the level production???

Ben McGraw's lovingly crafted this website from scratch for years.
It's a lot prettier this go around because of Jon Wofford.
