i know i saw i on the verge sorce but seein as they are down right now that doesnot help... o am looking ot a *nix (linux/unix and other unix based enviroment) version of VERGE if its out there could some one give me a link please. thank you in advaced.

Someone mada a peliminary port of verge to *nix, but as far as I know it was very incomplete and non-functional. Once the_Speed_Bump learns some linux programming and/or I learn some c/c++ 2.7 will probably be ported. 2.7 should probably be easier to port since it uses python for its scripting language.

well you can try:
ftp://www.verge-rpg.com/pub/verge/offical/verge2-unix_0.0_sdt.tar.gz

and if that dosent work just log into the verge ftp and look for the file your self.
