Good, you got past my boring topic line :)
As part of a new V26 project, myself and one other lucky individual will be creating the maps (this includes both the artistic and scripting aspects.) So here's the opinion question:
Since our game has seven _distinct_ worlds, how should the two of us split up the mapping responsibilities to provide the best use of our contrasting mapping styles?
A. Indoor/outdoor maps
B. Switch off between entire worlds
C. Alternate maps as we go through the game script
D. Some other ingenious thing (fill in here)
We want this to be the best damn Verge game ever conceived (and hopefully created :) right up there with classics like Revelation, so... um, yeah... please answer, pretty please............

Revelation is about the best verge game I've ever seen. It has insanely amazing tilesets, great chr's, and a really good storyline. I think its on vergesource.com: download it if you want to see how a good verge rpg is done.

It "could've" been a good game, but its long been dead. The fist (v1) demo was ok, nothing spectacular however. If you look for the new game, you'll find a couple screenshots, and a couple characters. that's it. They do look freakin amazing however, but since it hasn't been updated since June 3, 2000, its pretty much seems it's dead.

Do whatever you're good at. Once you're through with a map, have your partner look at it, and tweak it as necessary.

Thank you for defending Revelation! It's not dead, we just don't feel like showing anything....yet. Don't worry.
As to Gerf-THE Gerf, this isn't the first time he's expressed some bitterness to the game-for what reason, i do not know, and as for a personal note to him- what have YOU done?

Revelation, peeps.

Nobody's seen anything, and your site hasn't been updated in 6 months now. What else are people to think? I think it's perfectly fair to surmise such, given 6 months of nothing.
Anyhow! That's aside from the point, as you've confirmed that everything is all happy and joyful and stuff.
yay!

I see no confirmation.
Just as much doubt lies on the hands of Niko and Fantasy Realms, too. All we see is art from them. He has told us over and over again that the game is progressing wonderfully.
Seeing is believing, folks.
Yeah, I understand the likes of Quantum Physics and Molecular Theory. What's the point? I just need you to tie my shoes.

AAAAAAAAND am I trying to impress *you*?
I think not. Believe what you want, but I'll say it again:
Don't worry, everything is fine.
I've got a few new portraits, if anyone wants to see them, send me a mail ( I can't upload anything at the moment)
grvfyrflys@aol.com
and for your info, the BS is in the process of being programmed right now. Also, if anyone would like to help out on tile art, it would be much appreciated-dedicated people only.
Revelation, peeps.
