Is it possible to put a CHR over a PCX in Verge 2.6? I thought it might be possible if I made the Map Render String "1RE," but that didn't work. ^_^

try the R at the end of the whole restring.

I've done it in V2 with Render String 1RE. Did you hookretrace the copysprite() fucntion?

You have to blit the image before the CHRs, however, hence the render string.
However, that only applies to when the hookretrace'd script is run.
So! Put a copysprite in a function, hookretrace it, and render! voila! (assuming that you've still got the render string as '1RE')
