. . . it's an hallucination. There's a difference.
Anyway, I'm thinking of buying a new computer for myself. Actually, I KNOW I'm going to buy a new computer for myself, since I'm tired of using my crappy 486 (yes, yes, laugh while you can). I just don't have the money yet. But give me time. "Mwa ha ha ha!" -Scarlet
But, the purpose of this post is to ask a general question to that portion of the population who know what they're talking about. The question is this: what kind of hardware would you reccommend for a Verge developer on a budget? I'd like stuff that would make my games "neat-o" and up to date, but nothing that's ridiculously powerful or overkill for V2.7. I'd like reccommendations for video cards, sound cards, etc. Thanks for your time and (good) comments.

Only room for two DIMMs? That's kinda sucky.
Buying less than a half-gig of RAM is a crime. RAM prices are ridiculously low right now.
Other than that... the 3.25" drive is almost useless. Skip it, or just grab the one in your existing PC.
I would spring for a SoundBlaster Live. They rule.
