Before I get started with VERGE, I want to know what media formats it plays. IE .WAV .MOD .MID or CD Audio.

Wav for sounds, .mod, .xm, and .s3m for music. The first version of V2 had CD audio but it was removed because of GPL conflicts, I think.

ok ok ok I downloaded the guy who mugged me, and a few other demos, upon running them the music sounds like a machine gun it like blipps over and over again to the point of annoiance... so i turn my sound off, i am working in windows, and i have winamp is there a solution to this problem?
any info to the solution would make me happy..

I had that problem with all DOS games, until I dumped winamp. Maybe there's something more to it than that, and dumping winamp is the quick fix. Well, I dig microsoft and all, but I think they should keep their chocolate, out of our peanut butter, and stick to GUIs. I don't think we should support winamp, if we can avoid it. Also, Boycott the X-box! Keep the man, out of Atari's land. hehe... got kind of sidetracked.
BTW I see you changed your signature, but I'm not nice to you. I don't like chocolate very much.
