Hello! As someone who left the VERGE community right as Zeux's World was first being released, I never really had much contact with Zaratustra (er, except for that one birthday game I made for a friend of mine, which USED the Zeux engine, but that doesn't really count). (: But now that I'm back, I decided to check out a few of the games released by the man who seems to win every contest and code everything we've never thought of... and I must say, Mr. Tustra, you're quite the remarkable coder, and a pretty dang awesome game designer to boot! Anyone who could whip up Zeux's World in a fairly short amount of time (er, compared to the rest of us, anyway, who still have yet to finish any big projects, unless someone did during my absence...).

But anyway, not only did you make Zeux's World, but you also made 4Four, which is absolutely AMAZING... not only is the engine a work of side-scroller art, but the game itself is like a new Metroid inspired by old Amiga-style action games, and someone could very easily modify the engine to MAKE a new Metroid game... it wouldn't take much! And Robobo, too... who else would've thought to recreate LEMMINGS using an RPG engine, and actually manage to do it IN TWELVE HOURS?! (:

So, Zaratustra, I just wanted to say that you're an inspiration to us all. And Zathras: I'm not sure I've ever seen you around before, but dang, you got some mad music skills, man! (:

And now for the off-topicness. (: I dunno if anyone here is into Dance Dance Revolution, but let it be said that... er... I AM. *A LOT*. (: And recently, here in Japan, a new version of DDR has been released into Japanese arcades: DDRMAX, a.k.a. 6th Mix. It's abso-freakin'-lutely AMAZING, and if you should ever see a DDRMAX machine, I highly HIGHLY recommend playing this game. (: Also, if any of you are into import games and have a stealth-chipped PlayStation or something, I recommend getting DDR Extra Mix... FANTASTIC selection of songs, and a brand new announcer! (:

Anyhoo, that'll be all for now... ta! (:

I agree with everything you said except for DDR not being GOOD... in my opinion, DDR is one of the best games ever made, period, in ANY genre. Granted, not every version is a gem (4th Mix has a terrible interface, and 5th Mix has terrible songs), but the game itself is perfection in its simplicity. (:
