Psychosis
I just downloaded Verge 1 (Verge 2 is a little buggy for me, and plus I'm quite familar with V1). I had V1 on my old computer, but it won't run on my new computer. Right after attempting to detect the joystick (and failing, since I don't have one), it gives me the error message "Driver error: High-dma setting in 'BLASTER' variable is required for SB-16. I don't have a Soundblaster 16, although my crappy sound card may be the cause of this. Anybody know what could be causing this error?

You can do one of two things.

1) put "sounddevice 3" in setup.cfg, that'll disable all sound, and everything will be happy. (but silent)

2) use winverge. vecna ported it awhile back.
