You know... The one he worked on where he supposedly fixed the adjacent activation bug. Did he ever release it? The adjacent activation bug is a serious one, that could easily break a game(especially mine...)

Oh, and just in case no one checks the help forum, I posted a message there too :)

Andy is the only one who remotely works on verge anymore. Grab his newest v2.6 from ikagames.com. He'll probably even fix problems it might have, gasp and such.

I was hesitant on changing to a new engine since my game works so perfectly with WinV2, despite its bugs...

Last time I used v2.6(about a month and a half ago), it ran my game fairly well, but not perfectly. I may have tailored it too much to WinV2...

Just one of the many problems inherent in having a billion and one *nearly* compatible "Verge"s

v26 isn't evolving anymore. (sorry if you had your hopes up)

If v26 doesn't behave like winv2 in some aspect or other, then it's reasonably safe to assume that v26 is at fault.

Tell me and I'll fix it.

When the Vergesource still existed, Tatsumi said he got the sourcecode to WinV2 from vecna, and was doing bugfixes(one of which was the adjacent activation thing). After this update, this was never mentioned again. Oh, and he posted on the boards once that he was gonna fix bugs...

So there ya go.

On second thought, don't tell him, because then I'll have to kill you.

Also, the number of REs in this thread is starting to impress me.

Why would you have to kill the reporting person?

If there was an update of any kind to Verge, Ear might have to do some work?

Only a guess, but one I'm fairly happy with.
